Historically the church has been the place where life’s milestones have been marked, christening at the the journey’s start, marriage when a life is to be shared and a funeral at life’s end.

Many people still want to mark these occasions and we are happy to talk about what is appropriate at each occasion.

St Peter’s welcomes people who wish to be baptised of all ages.

The options available are discussed fully and many families decide to opt for a thanksgiving service rather than a baptism.

Each baptism or thanksgiving is special and we aim to make it so for all of the family.

St Peter’s is a beautiful setting and spiritual place to make wedding vows.  Our vicar will guide you through your wedding preparation.  Your wedding banns will be read out three times prior to your marriage ceremony.  You will receive a certificate of marriage on the day of the ceremony.

Please contact Andrew Buchanan who will be delighted to hear from you.
